Essay Competition for Schoolchildren

 

Writers’ House is holding an essay competition for secondary school students. The project is dedicated to a different writer each year, and, usually, it is associated with anniversaries. We offer school children write an essay on one of three suggested topics. The winners shall be elected by Writers’ House panel of judges and awarded various prizes. The competition was first held in 2015 as part of Vakhushti Kotetishvili Anniversary celebrations, and it was dedicated to his biographical novel My Life; in 2016, it was dedicated to Rezo Inanshvili’s prose works; in 2017, the competition was held in collaboration with South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation, and it was dedicated to Heinrich Boell’s 100th Anniversary and Works.
