Writer’s house, in collaboration with DiogenePublishing and financing Georgian the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, grants annual Vakhushti Kotetishvili Award for poetry translators. The award aims to appreciate and celebrate best Georgian translations of poetry. The Award is given in two categories:

• poetry book in translation
• translated piece of poetry printed in literary periodicals

The Award ceremony traditionally takes place in late December.
