Meeting with Gerard Audinet, the Director of the Victor Hugos' Museums and French photographer Klavdij Sluban.
Victor Hugos' Museum is one of the partners of Klavdij Sluban's Inhabiting Exile - the series on the Hautville House in Guernsey Victor Hugo has passed 15 years of exile. 
Inhabiting Exile by Klavdij Sluban was shown in the frame of the Month of Photography in Paris. The exhibition was hosted by Victor Hugos' Museum in Paris. 

April 24 to May 16 Inhabiting Exile is presented in the program of Tbilisi Photo Festival 2015 at საქართველოს მწერალთა სახლი/Writers' House of Georgia

After the talk/slideshow Klavdij Sluban will organize a guided visit of the exhibition Inhabiting Exile.

The 7th May 5:30 PM Gérard Audinet is invited by French Institute library at "Littérary Cafe": This meeting will be held in franch, entrance free. (Gudiashvili street 7).

Competition "For best understanding of Janri Kashia's work" - award ceromony will take place on May 11, 2015 at 19:00. 

The competition was announced last year in November to celebrate the 75th birthday of Janri Kashia.

The first day of Tbilisi International Festival of Literature  is special because of the meeting with great Belorus writer Svetlana Aleksievich. Presentation of Georgian translation of her famous book: "Voices Chernobyl" will be also presented on this event. Translation by Nino Bekishvili, publishing house "Intellecti". Svetlana Aleksievich talks with Georgian writer and journalist Anna Kordzaia-Samadashvili.

Svetlana Alexievich was born in the Belorussian capital of Minsk. Her books have been translated into 22 languages. They have formed the basis for a dozen plays, and more than twenty of her scripts have been filmed as documentaries. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Prix Médicis Essai 2013 and the Best Book of the Year Prize 2013 by the French literary magazine Lire for "Time Second Hand", the Peace Prize by the German Publishers and Booksellers Association 2013, the Angelus Central European Literature Award 2011 in Wroclaw/Poland for her book "War's Unwomanly Face", the Ryszard Kapuściński Award for literary reportage 2011 for "War's Unwomanly Face", the National Book Critics Circle Award, New York 2006 for "The Chernobyl Prayer"; Erich Maria Remarque Peace Prize, Osnabrück, 2001; the Robert Geisendörfer Radio Play Prize, the German Academy of the Performing Arts, Berlin, 2000; the “Témoin du Monde,” Paris, 1999; “The Best Book on Politics of the Year,” Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Bremen, 1998; the Andrej Sinjavskij Prize, Moscow, 1997; the Kurt Tucholsky Prize, Swedish PEN Club, Stockholm, 1996.
