The project was implemented in 7-11 May 2018, and it was dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Georgia. Writers’ House intended to collect and throw light on hitherto unknown newspaper and magazine materials of that time (1918-1921) and to present them to the public. The project included an exhibition, which, along with the periodicals of that age, also displayed materials preserved in Ioseb Grisashvili’s personal archive. Literature scholar Bela Tsipuria, art critic Nana Kipiani, and writer Giorgi Kekelidze, the director of the National parliamentary Library of Georgia, delivered a series of public lectures concerning literary and public activity of the First Georgian Republic within the framework of the project.
