The major idea of this project of Writers’ House is to invite representatives of two different generations to this meeting, and encourage their discussions of writing process, inspiration for writing, style, and character of narration. It is interesting to discuss how a piece is composed, and what Georgian writers write and in what manner; what are the relationships between writers and publishers like; and what kind of interest the reader has in a particular author or book. Awareness and knowledge of western literary processes by Georgian authors is of no less interest. At this first stage, Writers’ House has collaborated with only Georgian authors, however, we intend to invite Georgian and foreign authors together at some time in the future and, thus, arrange the conversation of authors of different cultures and writing styles among one another and with public. We believe such meetings shall be interesting not only for lovers of literature but also for aspiring writers.
