On November 12-16 the Writers’ House hosted a weekly (5 day event) to celebrate Davit Sarajishvili’s birthday. Within the frames of the exhibition “Davit Sarajishvili’s scholars” the Writers’ House exhibited photos, biographies, works and personal items of famous people fields of Georgian literature and science who at different times had received funding Davit Sarajishvili. Zakaria Paliashvili, Dimitri Arakishvili, Meliton Balanchviadze, Vano Sarajishvili, Gigo Gabashvili, Iakob Nikoladze, Mose Toidze, Nino Tsitsishvili, Solomon Cholokashvili – these are only some of the people whose education was greatly contributed by Davit Sarajishvili.

On November 12^th, at the opening of the exhibition the Writers’ House had many guests – famous writers and public figures in the field of culture. Within the frames of this weekly a public discussion was held “Philanthropy in Georgia, history, problems and law on philanthropy” – the financial supporter of the weekly was company “Sarajishvili”.
