• The best fiction (short stories/novel) of the year
• The best poetry collection of the year
• The best children’s book of the year
• The best book design of the year
• The best debut of the year

The winners will be awarded with prize of 4 000 GEL.

The competition will accept books/e-books published in Georgian language during 2015; it must be the first publication of the work. Works can be submitted only by publishing houses. Each publisher can only submit maximum of 5 books per nomination.

The 5-member jury ed by the Writers’ House will judge the competition; the members will be changed on yearly basis.

The deadline for submissions is December 25, 2015.

The short list will be announced by the end of March, 2016. Winners will be announced in May 2016, at the award ceremony.

Submissions will be accepted at the Writers’ House, 13, Machabeli Street, Tbilisi, Georgia:

-application form with the contact information;

-3 copies of the nominated book.
