Tbilisi International Literature Festival 18-23 May, 2015

Writers' House of Georgia is the initiator of annual international literature festival  to be held in Tbilisi. Today, contemporary cultural life of Georgia is rich with various art festivals – music (classical, jazz, folk), photo, theatre, film; a country with such rich literary traditions, has no literature festival, which on one hand would raise the interest of the outside world towards Georgian literature, and on the other hand, would enable authors and readers Georgia to meet their favorite international contemporary authors. Another added value to start such a festival will be the fact, that there is no literature festival in Caucasus, thus, Georgia, through this festival, would take the lead in the region to deepen literary contact among the Caucasus countries, which, in this conflicting region, is an important initiative.

The first international festival of literature will take place in Tbilisi 18 to 23 May, 2015.
