The Writers’ House celebrated 125^th anniversary of Boris Pasternak and opened an exhibition on February 27^th  - “Boris Pasternak: Georgia – protective deed”, the exhibited materials (personal letters, telegrams, photos ) show how much Georgia meant to this great Russian poet, how close he was with Georgian poets and how much he did for Georgian poetry, as its translator and popoularizer. 

After the exhibition, a famous Russian writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya held a lecutre on Boris Pasternak. Natalia Lomouri, director of Writers' House opened the evening and mentioned that the project was made possible with financial support of the Ministry of Culture. Lana Ghoghoberidze, Boris Pasternak's Georgian translator also talked at the evening. Ludmila Ulitskaya mentioned: "Today, in this hall we, complete strangers meet only because nobody needs a reminder me what a human heart knows best: invisible connection, that is established through music, poetry and enables us to find Adam's son and Adam's daughter in anyone. . . Pasternak knew all this very well and he shared part of his knowledge with us as well".

After the lecture a poetry evening was held - Ludmila Ulitskaya and lana Ghoghoberidze read Boris Pasternak's verses.
