Last year, for the first time, the Writers' House held a competition "Children Advise Children", which received high acclaim and approval.

As part of the project, the adolescents recommended one of their books to read in the summer through a video recording.

A total of 107 videos were submitted for the competition. The videos were posted on the Facebook page of the Writers' House.

The winners were revealed by a majority of votes.

This time the Writers' House is announcing an essay contest. Students should write an essay - "My Book of Summer" based on the books that won the previous competition.

Students of VI-IX grades of Georgian schools can participate in the competition.

Contest essays should be sent electronically to contest@writershouse.ge;  The essay must be typed in Microsoft word in Georgian Unicode (font - Sylfaen, size - 12) and should not exceed 3 pages (800 words).

The deadline for entries is February 28.

Three prizes will be awarded; the winners will be awarded with bookstore vouchers of "Biblus".

I prize - 500 GEL voucher

II prize - 300 GEL voucher

III prize - 200 GEL voucher

Essays will be judged by a jury composed of staff the Writers House. The award ceremony will take place at the end of March.
