The finalists of Literary Award "Litera for Translators" are known

The shortlist for Literary Award "Litera for Translators" is known. Out of 92 books submitted to the contest, the confidential jury named the finalists in three nominations:

Best young translator

At the awards ceremony, the jury will reveal another winner, who will receive the David Tserediani Award for contribution to the field of translation.

Due to the epidemic situation in the country, the award ceremony for "Literature for Translators" will be held online on December 18.

The translation contest "Litera for Translators" was established in 2020 with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia and the initiative of the Writers' House and will be held for the first time this year. The purpose of the award is to promote and stimulate translation activities
