Lali Japarashvili was given the award for outstanding contribution to children's literature.
The jury could not reveal the winner for the nomination Best children’s/youth innovative project.
The winners were annnounced by a jury of five members: Irma Malatsidze, Teona Bekishvili, Lika Chapiaze, Tea Lomidze, Olesia Tavadze.
Iakob Gogebashvili CHildren's and Youth Literary Award was created in 2017 by The Ministry of Culture and Sport of Georgia and Writers’ House. The Award is annual and aims to motivate and encourage children's authors.
Due to the epidemic situation in the country, the award ceremony was held online.
