Books published in 2019, plays and innovative children’s projects were eligible to participate in contest.

Another winner will be revealed at the awards ceremony for outstanding contribution to children’s literature. In previous years, Mzia Chkhetiani, Guram Petriashvili and Dodo Khimshiashvili-Vadachkoria were awarded in this nomination.

Due to the epidemic situation in the country, the Iakob Gogebashvili Children's and Youth Literary Award Ceremony will be held online on December 1.
