The finalists of the Science Fiction Genre stories Contest "The World Tomorrow" are known

The Contest of the Science Fiction Stories "The World Tomorrow" has ended. 

We sould like to thank all contest participants, as well as their teachers and schools. 99 stories entered the contest and the jury revealed the ten best of them.

The finalists are:

Tamar Abdushelishvili - "Fantastic Story" (Chiatura 2nd School)

Vika Vanishvili - "Hidden Future" (Gori, Sveneti Public School)

Andria Kikonishvili - "Refugees" (Tbilisi, Komarov 199th School)

Ani Kobakhidze - "The Cry of the Origins" (Tbilisi, 161st School)

Salome Lomidze - "I feel Cold" (Khashuri, 1st School)

Nia Rekhviashvili - "Journey in the Photo" (Lagodekhi, 2nd school of the village of Apeni)

Dachi Rukhadze - "How I fell in love" (Tbilisi, 175th school)

Ani Poghosyan - "Medium 17" (Ninotsminda, 2nd school of the village Gandzi)

Natalie Chitaia - "Alternatives to the Future" (Tbilisi, Komarov 199th School)

Giorgi Khitarishvili - " do geese go in winter when the lake freezes?" (Tbilisi, Opiza School).


On July 7, at 15:00, the jury will name the first three prize winners at the Writers' House.

First prize - 500 GEL voucher for the store "Zoommer";
Second prize - 400 GEL voucher for the store "Zoommer";
Third prize - 300 GEL voucher for the store "Zoommer".

The other 7 finalists will receive an incentive prize - a 50 GEL voucher for the Biblus bookstore.

The contest of Science Fiction genre stories "The World Tomorrow" was announced on April 8, 2020, and high school students of Georgian public and private schools were eligible to participate.
