On December 25^th,Writers’ House held an award ceremony of essay contest winners. This year’s contest was dedicated to 80^th  anniversary of Guram Dochanashvili.

The jury, comprised of Writers’ House staff ed 12 best works out of 500 hundred submitted essays. Three awards and nine incentive prizes were awarded.

This year, the winners of Writers’ House’s students’ essay contest are:

I award – Tea Chelidze, public school of village Orlovka, Ninotsminda municipality

II award – Gigi Mirziashvili, public school N 1 of Mtskheta

III award – Ana Shamatava, public school N 1 of village Sajijao, Khobi municipality

Incentive prizes (100 Gel vouchers of stores “Alta” and “Biblus”) were given to:

• Erekle Khokhiashvili, public school N 1 of village Kveda Simoneti, Terjola municipality
• Natia Beridze, public school of village Tunadzeebi, Khulo municipality
• Zaruhi Atorakaliani, Rustaveli Public school N 2 of village Gandza, Ninotsminda municipality
• Vakhtang Gamtsemlidze, public school N 72, Tbilisi
• Roland Kharabadze, public school of village Tunadzeebi, Khulo municipality
• Nia Merebashvili, public school of village Berbuki, Gori municipality
• Daria Strukova, public school of village Orlovka, Ninotsminda municipality
• Mariam Makhviladze, public school N 12 of town Gori
• Giorgi Khvedelidze, public school N 2, Chiatura

Writers’ House announced the contest in the beginning of November, high school students of public and private schools of Georgia were eligible to participate.
