To celebrate 80th anniversary of Guram Dochanashvili,  Writers' House announces literary contest for high school students of Georgia.

School students studying in 9-12 grades in private and public schools of Georgia are eligible to participate. 

The students must write and present one out of three proposed topics according to Guram Dochanashvili's works:

- Punishment cell-Lux - dream for book lovers (the man that loved literature)

- The road shepherding to water polo (water polo or rehabilitation works)

- My favorite work by Guram Dochanashvili

The contest essays must be sent electronically to nbekishvili@writershouse.ge. The work must be typed in Microsoft Word with Georgian Unicode (font Sylfaen, size 12) and must not exceed 5 pages (1000 words).

The deadline for submissions is December 10th. 

The essays will be evaluated by the jury comprised of Writers' House staff. 

The award ceremenoy will be held at the end of December, at Writers' House.

Three prizes will be awarded. The winners will be given the vouchers of book store "Biblus"

I prize - 500 Gel voucher

II prize - 300 Gel voucher

III prize - 200 Gel voucher
